It is a trial cake.. I google for the recipe and compare which one is I THINK more-less looks like daim cake at IKEA.. hehe.. To be honest, I never try it before./even though it is so famous among my friends. So I guess I need too try prepare and let them test it. The outcome was yummie!!! except it is not hard like IKEA'S. Maybe I should alter the recipe a bit so that I could name it HOMEMADE IKEA DAIM CAKE. :)  

Last friday we went for a vacation with MIL and SIL sefamily. I didn't plan to bake anything actually. Tapi dah malam khamis tu teringat pulak kalu ada kek yang simple boleh makan makan dalam kereta kan best.. Fikir punya fikir I choosed this cake.. Simple tapi sedap.. Ni first time buat cake ni. Bestnya gebu sesangat..Saiz yang besar.. 9"x3" tapi 1.2kg je cm2.. Haha boleh imagine tak kegebuan dia tu membesarkan saiz tapi ringan.. Yang kaler chocolate tu I pakai cuppucino bukan chocolate..Anyway I bawak 2/3 pegi Cameron dan 1/3 I passed to my mum sebelum bergerak ke sana pagi tu. Ada baki sikit lagi masa balik dari sana & I bawak pegi office.. Sedap Alhamdulillah..

Yang ni gambar sebelum masak.. hehe.. Nak tau rahsia kek ni sedap? Pure butter of cause.. Butter saja dah lebih RM10.. hehe..

Moist orange cake for Mr. Koh's farewell.. It is a 2.3 kg cake. Huge so that everybody could try it. I used pure butter for the buttercream as I don't like the taste of margerine. But that gives me soft topping.. Tak sesuai untuk cuaca panas.. And my favourite ornament comes back!!!

Dah lama janji nak buatkan cheesecake untuk sahabat sorang ni.. Tapi tak berkesempatan sejak die dah pindah Johor.. Kebetulan last week she came to KL to pass some food for her sister in UK to her brother in law.. He was here for few weeks..working... And lucky her I have everything in my fridge and I just bake it for her.. Epy like it as well as her mother.. Thank u aunty puji kek saya... =)

Ni entry lama.. Candy buffet yang lepas.. Tapi gambar macs ni baru jumpa.. Hihi.. Maklumla bila hari majlis I memang tak pegang camera.. Busy sangat.. harapkan camera adikla yang rajin mengambil gambar..

Macs ni ikut kaler tema.. biru dan hijau.. Filling chocolate ganache dan peanut butter..

It's for mom's birthday!!! I bake a new cake for her.. And checkered it.. Siap amik cuti nak buat kek ni.. Actually tak plan pun nak celebrate on weekdays.. tapi dah alang alang ambil cuti, buat kek la.. Memang I tak pandai duduk diam kat umah pun.. Nama je ambil cuti nak rehat. Tapi bila dah cuti.... buat kek pulak kat rumah.. Hehehe.. Bila stress kita buat benda yang kita suka kan? And I guess I love baking!!!!
